I’m Brian Bombarda, a filmmaker and Director of Photography who believes every story deserves to feel as real as it looks.

 

My work blends cinematic precision with emotional honesty. Whether I’m lighting a quiet conversation, capturing a chef preserving tradition, or filming a sunrise halfway across the world, my goal is the same: to create images that make people feel something.

 

Before filmmaking, I spent years in aviation, where I learned the value of precision, patience, and perspective. Those lessons shape how I see every frame. Every camera move, every beam of light, every detail in the scene... it all serves the story.

 

When I’m not behind the lens on corporate or higher education projects, I create travel films for "Traveling Required," a series that explores culture, food, and adventure through authentic storytelling. It’s a reminder of why I fell in love with filmmaking in the first place: to connect people through shared experience.

 

For me, cinematography isn’t just about how something looks.
